About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the technical design of Dynamics CRM solutions, including application architecture, data models, integrations, security, and deployment approaches
  • Assess business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis
  • Evaluate existing CRM applications and recommend improvements to performance, maintainability, scalability, and reliability
  • Prepare solution designs, architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation estimates
  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  • Develop custom plug-ins, workflow extensions, client-side scripts, and integrations
  • Build and enhance model-driven Power Apps and Power Automate flows
  • Implement CRM functionality for customer and stakeholder records, application or case tracking, approvals, task management, and notifications
  • Design and implement integrations between Dynamics CRM and enterprise applications
  • Support data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality improvements
  • Manage solution packaging, version control, environment configuration, and deployments across development, testing, and production
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycle management
  • Perform unit testing, support integration testing and user acceptance testing, and resolve defects
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues; conduct root-cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years of software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement experience
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a technical lead or solution architect while remaining actively involved in development
  • Strong expertise in Dynamics CRM configuration, customization, extensibility, and enterprise implementation
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dynamics SDK, Dataverse Web API, and FetchXML
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Experience designing enterprise integrations and working with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus
  • Strong understanding of CRM data modeling, security, performance optimization, and solution management
  • Experience with source control, automated deployments, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or comparable tools
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical designs and deliver solutions through the full development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to attend the client’s Toronto office 3 days per week
