About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure FAST tool sets to implement AI-powered insurance components, including policy administration, new business processing, and distribution management workflows
Leverage FAST's SOA component library to solve complex business problems with AI enhancements
Configure AI solutions within FAST and cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock
Design, test, and troubleshoot AI configurations, including prompt engineering, model selection, integration parameters, and performance optimization
Develop and maintain configuration documentation and best practices
Serve as a technical point of contact for customers implementing AI features
Gather customer feedback, monitor usage patterns, and translate needs into configuration improvements and product recommendations
Stay current with AI platform capabilities, emerging tools, and industry best practices
Evaluate new features and configuration options
Monitor AI solution performance and customer engagement metrics
Analyze usage patterns, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend data-driven enhancements
Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and customer teams
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product backlog refinement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
2-3 years of relevant experience
Experience configuring and implementing software solutions independently
Advanced SQL proficiency
Experience with software troubleshooting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to explain technical concepts in business terms
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
Experience with AI technologies, machine learning, or advanced analytics platforms strongly preferred
Experience with cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI strongly preferred
Knowledge of agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus
Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus
