About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Software QA process, including developing, implementing, and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
  • Analyze requirements and design specifications for test case development
  • Recommend test automation approaches, tools, and frameworks
  • Develop test infrastructure and custom automation tools to expand test coverage and enable non-functional testing
  • Perform manual and automated tests for websites and applications
  • Prioritize test execution
  • Find and report defects with detailed, accurate, and concise reproduction steps
  • Assist developers in discovering and researching defects and recommend system enhancements
  • Own testing across multiple applications built with varied tools and technologies
  • Analyze requirements, prepare test plans, and build test cases to validate functionality
  • Support and execute functional and non-functional application testing before production release
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing with technology groups across sites
  • Drive test automation efforts, including planning, hands-on scripting, and oversight of other automation resources
  • Work closely with agile teams as Automation Test Lead
  • Drive processes and tools for automated regression and functional testing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience breaking complex software systems
  • Experience evaluating software architectures and designs to identify quality, performance, and scalability weaknesses and developing automated test regimens
  • Experience leading QA process development, execution, and documentation
  • Strong command of manual and automated testing methodologies and general quality concepts
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright
  • Experience developing automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and TypeScript
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, and ATDD
  • Experience designing automation testing tools for databases and APIs
  • Experience with mobile automation testing tools
  • Experience with LoadRunner/JMeter load testing
  • Extensive knowledge of web technologies and experience testing web APIs/REST services
  • Experience automating complex systems integration/end-to-end testing
  • Experience integrating Selenium regression scripts with continuous integration build servers such as Jenkins
  • Experience testing hosted/cloud SaaS web applications is highly desirable
  • Experience testing native mobile applications is desirable
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
