About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and evolve the business insights and reporting strategy for ProMetrix
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and related reporting tools
  • Translate underwriting questions and business needs into reporting requirements, KPIs, data definitions, and actionable visualizations
  • Analyze ProMetrix product usage, customer activity, operational performance, and commercial property data
  • Partner with commercial underwriters, product leaders, operations, risk engineering, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams
  • Present findings and recommendations to business users and leadership
  • Validate report logic and data outputs, investigate inconsistencies, and resolve reporting or data-quality issues with data and technology teams
  • Establish reporting definitions, documentation, refresh expectations, and governance practices
  • Gather user feedback and convert it into prioritized reporting enhancements
  • Create business requirements and Jira user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with IT, data, and development teams in an agile environment
  • Support customer discussions, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and sales opportunities
  • Contribute to the ProMetrix roadmap and backlog, owning reporting, analytics, and business insight capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, product analysis, commercial insurance, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, or comparable business intelligence platforms
  • Ability to analyze business questions, identify appropriate measures, and communicate findings through clear data visualizations and concise narratives
  • Experience gathering and documenting reporting requirements, defining metrics, and validating outputs with business stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of data structures, report development, data validation, and common business intelligence concepts
  • Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, organization, and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or analytical information to business audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across product, underwriting, operations, data, design, and engineering teams
  • Commercial property or commercial lines underwriting experience preferred
  • Experience with SQL, data preparation, semantic layers, or querying structured datasets is a plus
  • Experience with ThoughtSpot Cloud and Amazon Quick preferred
