About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take a technical lead role in evolving and supporting the high-performance risk modeling platform
  • Guide efficient use of computing, memory, and networking resources
  • Collaborate with Software Architects and Product Owners to shape technical direction and plan delivery
  • Ensure alignment with platform standards
  • Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and technical leadership
  • Lead improvements to engineering processes, tooling, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong background in computer science (BSc, MSc, Ph.D.)
  • 4-8 years of demonstrable experience
  • Experience in three or more of: Python and/or C++, cloud computing (AWS), distributed systems, API design, data engineering
  • DevOps experience, security and compliance knowledge, and experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers at scale are assets, not requirements
  • Minimum hiring age of 18, except where a higher age limit applies
