About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the scaling of an AI-assisted design capability within a large financial services operation.
  • Connect the Design System, AI agents, and Figma to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and screen delivery.
  • Prepare a team of designers to work with consistency, quality, and autonomy.
  • Drive the evolution of an AI-readable Design System, including three-layer token architecture, component rebinding, and context documentation.
  • Build and maintain design agents and skills with Copilot, Figma MCP, and the corporate AI hub.
  • Structure and maintain the context repository consumed by AI.
  • Define and maintain a standardized Screen Patterns catalog.
  • Execute the screen creation cycle: specification, generation via Figma MCP, refinement, and quality assurance.
  • Train designer cohorts, develop champions, and maintain an AI Playbook and onboarding program.
  • Support agent/skill governance and track adoption, productivity, and quality metrics.
  • Forecast AI credit costs and delivery timelines across rollout waves.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid senior-level experience in Product Design/UX/UI, with a portfolio of digital products.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including variables/tokens, components, variants, and Dev Mode.
  • Hands-on experience with Design Systems, from component creation to token architecture and governance.
  • Real-world experience applying AI to the design workflow, including agents/skills, prompt engineering, and tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Figma MCP.
  • Ability to write structured specifications (screen specs and component specs) that AI can execute.
  • Understanding of context-window management and why “specifying before generating” produces consistent results.
  • Senior-level judgment to distinguish a strong result from a false positive.
  • Autonomous, organized, and highly instructional profile, with the ability to transfer knowledge and unblock a team.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience leading AI adoption/enablement initiatives or developing champions.
  • Preferred: familiarity with design productivity and quality metrics and AI cost models (credits).
  • Preferred: experience in regulated corporate environments, including security, Brazil’s LGPD, and tool approval processes.
  • Preferred: knowledge of UX and research frameworks to calibrate ideation.
