About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership within the squad, taking responsibility for technical decisions and definitions
Monitor execution with the Dev Team and coordinate with other teams to address integrations and dependencies
Drive the standards and practices defined by the System Team
Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices in line with the standards established by the Program
Plan and support deployments and monitor post-deployment activities
Define and ensure non-functional application requirements, including technical certification, SonarQube, and automated testing
Oversee DevOps pipelines and application monitoring across testing, staging, and production environments
Define integrations with the relevant areas and data modeling in collaboration with Data Administrators

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Java (version 8+), the Spring framework (Spring Boot, React, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch)
Experience with Angular (version 7+), CSS, and TypeScript
Knowledge of Jenkins and GitLab/GitHub
Knowledge of automated testing processes and tools (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma)
Experience developing integrations using contract formats such as Swagger/YAML
Experience developing microservices
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
Oracle and MongoDB knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of OpenShift, Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and RabbitMQ is a plus
Knowledge of Redis is a plus
