About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Map business needs, domains, and capabilities, translating them into technical requirements and solutions
Define solution architecture, including architectural patterns, components, integrations, and communication flows
Design solutions with performance, scalability, resilience, availability, and security in mind
Evaluate and select technologies based on requirements, impacts, costs, and integration with the existing environment
Analyze the solution’s impact on applications, data, security, and infrastructure
Document architectures, flows, technical decisions, and opportunities for evolution
Define metrics, monitoring, observability, and alerts for solution tracking
Identify technical risks and support the definition of mitigation actions
Provide technical leadership to teams throughout solution definition and implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with solution architecture projects, systems integration, and process optimization
Experience analyzing business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, messaging, and integration patterns
Familiarity with Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, and cloud technologies
Knowledge of information security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption
Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and code version control
Knowledge of solution modeling and estimating infrastructure and licensing costs
Experience working in agile development environments
Systems-level perspective and critical analysis skills
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Communication and negotiation skills with technical and business stakeholders
Ability to make technical decisions based on data, impacts, and constraints
Organization and clarity in solution documentation
Technical leadership
Preferred: experience with Transition Architecture
Preferred: experience modernizing and migrating systems to new architectures
Preferred: ability to assess the risks, impacts, advantages, and limitations of technology decisions
