About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design scalable, end-to-end Cloud Native technical solutions.
- Select appropriate data persistence strategies and facilitate decision-making with engineering and corporate teams.
- Oversee and guide the development delivery team, ensuring code compliance with AWS/GCP architecture, data best practices, and industry standards.
- Define the technical direction of the Squad’s products.
- Promote security, Clean Code, SOLID, DDD, and performance optimization for databases and cloud workloads.
- Provide technical leadership to developers, guiding refinement sessions, impact analyses, estimates, Gitflow, and technical debt mapping.
- Participate in Discovery sessions, connecting business hypotheses with technical feasibility.
- Evaluate the GCP/AWS ecosystem and data strategies, proposing improvements to tools and processes.
- Translate company objectives into feasible technical solutions with high practical value.
- Ensure data privacy, LGPD compliance, and the mitigation of algorithmic bias.
- Monitor computing and cloud resources, optimize operating costs, and anticipate production failures.
- Support, maintain, and evolve customer service systems and platforms, managing major incidents and collaborating with corporate teams and other business verticals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Completed or ongoing higher education in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong proactive mindset, excellent interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence.
- Practical understanding of Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Ability to centralize, clean, organize, and structure structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Expertise in data modeling, query optimization, and the management of relational and non-relational databases (NoSQL/Vector DBs).
- Solid experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, jQuery, and SQL/PL-SQL.
- Knowledge of and practical experience with AWS and GCP.
- Experience with S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and GKE.
- Governance of microservices and containers/orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS/GKE.
- Expertise in Software Architecture, SOLID principles, DDD, secure development, and data modeling.
- Expertise in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and FinOps culture.
