About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable software solutions using Java
Develop, optimize, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs
Design and implement microservices-based solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Resolve complex performance and security issues
Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to microservices-based architecture and integration standards
Apply Clean Code best practices, SOLID principles, and coding standards
Collaborate with software architects to define standards and best practices
Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering continuous learning
Ensure the quality, security, performance, and scalability of solutions
Ensure compliance with architecture standards and development best practices
Oversee the maintenance and evolution of APIs and microservices
Ensure that technical solutions meet project requirements
Contribute to resolving complex technical issues and continuously improving code
Share knowledge and support the technical development of junior and mid-level professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or later) and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security)
Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB and Redis)
Experience with microservices architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker and Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and version control (Git)
Completed or ongoing higher education
Experience with Open Finance is a plus
Experience in the financial sector and with transactional systems
Experience providing technical guidance to developers
Participation in defining architecture standards and development best practices
Availability to work onsite at the client’s location in Barra Funda twice per month
