About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review tender documents and general contracting procedures, critically analyzing them to identify risks, unlawful provisions, and participation requirements
  • Prepare administrative submissions, including requests for clarification, challenges to tender documents, administrative appeals, and responses to appeals
  • Support the management of government contracts, including preparing claims for economic and financial rebalancing, reviewing contract amendments, and handling sanction proceedings
  • Act in administrative and judicial litigation, as well as before Courts of Accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
  • Postgraduate degree/specialization in Administrative Law and/or Public Procurement and Government Contracts
  • Prior experience in Administrative Law, specifically with public procurement procedures
  • Excellent legal writing and summarization skills
  • Highly organized, with close attention to strict deadlines
  • Availability to work in person in São Paulo, SP, or Curitiba, PR, under a hybrid work arrangement
  • Legal experience managing construction contracts
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work with internal and external systems for tracking judicial proceedings
  • Strong client-facing skills and flexibility in working with clients
