About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle, track, and support the resolution of tickets related to data, pipelines, dashboards, and update routines.
- Monitor data routines, identifying failures, inconsistencies, or interruptions in processes.
- Support incident analysis by performing initial checks, collecting evidence, and escalating more complex issues.
- Deploy data pipelines across development and production environments.
- Deploy and publish dashboards, ensuring functional connections, access, and updates.
- Support the corrective and ongoing enhancement maintenance of pipelines, dashboards, data models, and integrations.
- Make minor-complexity adjustments to data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes.
- Support the development and maintenance of pipelines on the Databricks platform.
- Assist with integrating data from APIs, databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
- Perform data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality control.
- Develop small data projects, such as ETL pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
- Document procedures, solutions, dependencies, and process configurations.
- Support updates to the team’s knowledge base.
- Communicate the progress of tickets and incidents to the relevant teams.
- Work with analysts, engineers, and other teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Knowledge of SQL for queries, validation, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and transformation.
- Basic knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
- Interest in learning about Databricks, data engineering, Business Intelligence, and DataOps practices.
- Ability to analyze problems and perform initial checks to identify failures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when carrying out deployments, validations, and documentation.
- Good communication skills for ticket handling and interaction with internal teams.
- Proactivity, accountability, and a desire to grow in the data field.
- Availability to work on operational support, maintenance, and demand management activities.
- Previous experience supporting environments, handling tickets, or providing user support.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
- Experience publishing, updating, or maintaining dashboards.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools.
- Experience working with data in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring, incident management, and process documentation.
