About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the procurement of services, materials, and rentals for construction projects
Prepare requests for quotation (RFQs) and manage the quotation process
Negotiate and formalize contracts
Issue purchase orders
Track supplier lead times and receipt of purchased items
Establish the procurement Vendor List from the outset, particularly during the mobilization phase
Maintain close coordination with the project site engineering team, Engineering/Projects, and the Legal Department
Manage competing priorities and mitigate the impact of supply delays on the project’s critical path
Ensure compliance with the company’s compliance policies, procedures, and approval authority limits
Ensure the continuous supply of the construction site within cost, schedule, and quality parameters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry, directly supporting construction site requirements
Experience with e-procurement software (e.g., Lumina) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Preferred: team leadership experience
