About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist tax and wealth management teams with estate planning on a non-exclusive basis
- Receive hand-offs from Legal Directors to provide estate planning services
- Meet virtually or in person with clients to confirm estate planning needs
- Prepare revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, and LLCs
- Draft estate planning documents using personal methods or company templates
- Stay up to date with the latest state laws
- Work with tax, business, financial, and other internal professionals
- Serve an established book of business with households holding average client assets of $1 million to $10 million
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be licensed in the posted state
- Entry-level attorneys will be considered
- Ability to conduct client meetings virtually and meet clients to oversee document execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative and creative
- Ability to lead and be decisive
- Time management and organization
- Collaborative skills to accept and turn ideas into strategies with help of tax, business, and financial advisors
- Knowledge of current state laws
