About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide specialized third-level technical support for tickets, questions, and critical incidents related to SAP EWM
Monitor and resolve errors in integration queues and messages between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA
Monitor and remediate integrations using RFC, IDocs, and qRFC queues
Investigate the root causes of recurring failures in logistics processes
Propose and implement permanent solutions to systemic issues
Configure and validate new warehouses, storage structures, areas, warehouse types, and sections
Configure and customize system document types according to business processes
Design and implement improvements to receiving, shipping, and internal transfer processes
Work on SAP EWM integration with Production using PMR (Production Material Request)
Support production line supply and the receipt of finished goods from manufacturing
Participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of integrations with external systems
Support scenario mapping, load testing, and technical validations
Document configurations, settings, functional specifications, and implemented solutions
Provide knowledge transfer to the internal team when requested
Participate in status meetings and report on activities, tickets, improvements, and identified risks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience as a Senior SAP EWM Consultant
Participation in at least three SAP EWM implementation or support projects
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA
Proficiency in SAP EWM architecture and mapping warehouses from ERP to EWM
Knowledge of communication and integration using RFC, IDocs, and qRFC
Experience monitoring and resolving integration queues
Knowledge of inbound and outbound processes
Experience with putaway and picking strategies
Knowledge of receiving, shipping, and goods movement
Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and replenishment
Knowledge of stock transfers between warehouses and logical areas
Experience with EWM-PP integration and production supply using PMR
Experience integrating SAP EWM with manufacturing systems or WMS platforms
Ability to prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition – Extended Warehouse Management certification
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA 2021
Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite – CPI
Experience monitoring interfaces and integration queues
Experience integrating with manufacturing systems, MES, or specialized pharmaceutical industry solutions
Experience integrating with third-party logistics providers or external WMS platforms
Senior, consultative, and hands-on profile
Ability to provide critical support and resolve incidents
Strong communication skills with technical and business teams
Organized approach to documenting activities and solutions
Proactive identification of improvements and risks
