About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install gas detection equipment, including fitting conduit, cable tray, catenary wire, and boxed trunking
  • Pull and terminate cables
  • Complete timesheets, job documentation, and email communication
  • Participate in internal training and attend external training courses when required
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK, primarily in London and the South of England, including Cambridge and Oxford
  • Stay overnight when working on projects more than two hours from home

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in a similar installation or engineering role
  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel (essential)
  • CSCS Health & Safety card (preferred)
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Competent computer skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Professional and well presented
