About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions to automate legal processes
- Design and implement Large Language Models (LLMs) for the analysis, interpretation, and generation of legal documents
- Build solutions for extracting, classifying, and consolidating information from contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and other legal documents
- Develop automated Due Diligence applications for risk analysis, compliance, and the identification of document inconsistencies
- Create intelligent mechanisms to support litigation management, case analysis, and monitoring of legal obligations
- Implement RAG architectures for querying legal document repositories
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Governance, and Technology teams to identify opportunities for automation and innovation
- Ensure the security, traceability, privacy, and compliance of solutions in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Monitor the performance, accuracy, and evolution of AI models in production environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computing, or a related field
- Strong experience with Python and AI solution development
- Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience with LLMs, including GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral, Gemini, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of LangChain
- Knowledge of LangGraph
- Knowledge of LlamaIndex
- Knowledge of Semantic Kernel
- Experience with RAG architecture, vectorization, and semantic search
- Knowledge of Pinecone
- Knowledge of Weaviate
- Knowledge of ChromaDB
- Knowledge of Azure AI Search
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of AWS
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of MLOps, monitoring, and AI model governance
- Preferred: experience delivering projects for legal departments, compliance, audit, or risk management teams
- Preferred: knowledge of contract analysis automation and legal document review
- Preferred: experience in the banking, financial services, insurance, or large corporate sectors with high volumes of proceedings and contracts
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, or equivalent certifications
- Preferred: postgraduate degree or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Big Data Analytics, AI Engineering, or Cloud Solutions Architecture
