About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute functional, exploratory, and regression testing, identifying issues before releases
  • Validate workflows, business rules, APIs, and data in less complex scenarios
  • Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria with the development team
  • Report bugs clearly, including evidence and reproduction steps
  • Perform retesting and validate fixes in the staging environment
  • Keep test cases, checklists, and results up to date
  • Communicate risks, blockers, and potential impacts identified during testing
  • Support the enhancement and maintenance of automated tests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Initial experience with software testing, requirements analysis, technical support, or development; academic projects and portfolios are also considered
  • Basic knowledge of software quality, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
  • Familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for simple queries in PostgreSQL
  • Attention to detail, organization, and clear communication
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and openness to receiving and applying feedback
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with different areas of the technology team
  • Preferred: basic knowledge of test automation and CI/CD
  • Preferred: knowledge of responsive design and accessibility
  • Preferred: familiarity with GitHub or bug tracking and management tools
  • Preferred: personal or academic projects demonstrating practical application of software testing
