About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support data analysis, reporting and dashboard development within the Asset Intelligence Branch
- Help the team understand asset condition, performance and trends across Victoria's transport infrastructure
- Work with large datasets and tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Apply data skills to real infrastructure challenges at scale
Requirements
What you’ll need- A tertiary qualification in data analytics, data science, statistics, information systems, asset management or a related engineering discipline
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Graduated, or be due to graduate, from an Australian or New Zealand University between 1 December 2024 and 31 January 2027
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with full working rights for the required period
- Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required
- Experience in a programming language such as R, SQL or Python
- Experience in asset management, ideally in a complex asset-intensive environment
- Experience working with geospatial data (e.g. Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML)
