About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help DTP understand and shape how staff engage with cyber security
- Conduct research and develop insights into workplace behaviour
- Contribute to behaviour-change initiatives
- Work closely with the Cyber Culture and Awareness Lead
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the department
- Contribute to benchmarking, reporting and cyber security awareness campaigns
- Build a stronger cyber security culture within a large, complex organisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduated, or be due to graduate, from an Australian or New Zealand University between 1 December 2024 and 31 January 2027
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or working towards one) in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Communications, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, Marketing or a related people-focused discipline
- Understanding of workplace behaviour and how people and organisations respond to change
- Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or holder of a valid visa with full working rights for the required period
- Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks
- Clear communication and positive stakeholder relationships
- Critical thinking and ability to weigh evidence and perspectives
- Organisation and reliability in managing tasks and project records
- Curiosity and fresh ideas
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Interest in or exposure to cyber security is desirable
- Previous internship, work experience or other relevant practical experience is desirable
