About the role

Deliver weekly or bi-weekly 60-minute face-to-face virtual individual supervision sessions
Ensure compliance with the state-mandated 1:16 supervision-to-client-contact ratio
Review and execute the mandatory Massachusetts Allied Mental Health Board Three-Way Clinical Field Experience Contract
Remotely access the agency’s EHR system to review, provide feedback on, and co-sign clinical documentation
Coach and evaluate supervisees on DSM-5 diagnostics, Motivational Interviewing, CBT for relapse prevention, milieu management, and crisis stabilization
Maintain independent supervision logs documenting dates, times, formats, and clinical themes
Complete and sign official Massachusetts Verification of Post-Master's Experience forms
Monitor ethical compliance, professional boundaries, countertransference, and signs of vicarious trauma or burnout

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Minimum of three (3) full years of full-time, post-licensure clinical experience
Demonstrated experience working with substance use disorders
Experience with the ASAM Criteria
Experience with trauma-informed care
Experience with co-occurring mental health diagnoses
Access to a secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platform
Reliable high-speed internet
Must submit a resume/CV, brief cover letter, and Massachusetts LMHC license number
