About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the RAN Technology Integration & Configuration Manager
- Perform new RAN software analysis, testing, and integration into the network
- Analyze, select, test, evaluate, and integrate new 2G/4G/5G RAN features and functionalities
- Study new RAN technologies and architectures and drive related technology designs, testing, evaluation, and integration
- Follow the RAN hardware roadmap and lifecycle; contribute to RAN product selection, testing, and evaluation
- Participate in and support Core Network and Transport Network projects/programs for RAN technology aspects
- Perform BSC planning, performance monitoring, and BSC hardware/software testing and integration
- Formulate RAN BCP procedures and implement RAN security enhancements/processes
- Liaise with radio network vendors on hardware/software roadmaps, projects, and technical issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- In depth knowledge and understanding of 2G/4G/5G radio technologies
- Knowledge of Radio Functionalities, Parameters and basic Performance Indicators
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
- Enthusiastic and passionate, with a strong customer orientation
- Team-player with collaborative spirit
- Very good knowledge of MS Windows – MS Office
- Car Driving License
- Postgraduate Degree in Telecoms is desired
- Familiar with and passionate about new Technologies is desired
- Experience in NR/LTE/GSM system operation is desired
- Solid problem solving and analytic skills are desired
