About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop and maintain web applications and internal software platforms, primarily using PHP, Laravel and JavaScript
Build scalable, reliable solutions and continuously improve existing applications
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs connecting different systems and platforms
Design and implement workflow automations using Power Automate and RPA technologies
Work with databases to ensure efficient data management and system integration
Support GIS-related applications and mapping solutions used in telecommunications network operations
Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
Contribute to application deployment, testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
Document technical requirements and ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development
Strong knowledge of PHP (8.0+) and Laravel
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern web development technologies
Familiarity with Vue.js and MVC architecture
Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL or similar
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments
Understanding of version control, CI/CD practices and containerization technologies
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
Collaborative mindset, ownership and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
Nice to have: Python, Bash scripting or WordPress experience
Nice to have: Docker, Podman, Jenkins, Gitea or Kubernetes knowledge
Nice to have: Microsoft Power Automate or RPA experience
Nice to have: GIS technologies, particularly ESRI ArcGIS
Nice to have: Agile development methodologies
Nice to have: telecommunications networks or network-related applications exposure
