About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and optimize assembly processes
  • Support the introduction of mostly mechanical new products
  • Study and define assembly methods through Operating Standards
  • Define production layouts and analyze equipment and material placement
  • Ensure compliance with ergonomic principles
  • Define and estimate work cycles according to project targets agreed with R&D
  • Size investments in machinery and equipment and support their design and implementation with Industrial Engineering
  • Coordinate product industrialization projects from design/prototyping through mass production
  • Collaborate with R&D on technical specifications and process requirements
  • Suggest modifications to improve product performance and manufacturability
  • Improve customer service, operational efficiency, and outgoing product quality
  • Ensure workstation safety and ergonomics
  • Support Lean tools including 5S, Standardization, Visual Management, TPM, and SMED
  • Collaborate with Production, R&D, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Controlling, Planning, component suppliers, and equipment suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Management, or related Engineering fields
  • Previous experience in similar roles, preferably within industrial environments strongly oriented toward Lean Manufacturing
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of main IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Coordination and project management skills
  • Teamwork ability, problem-solving attitude, and strong communication skills
  • Use of correct tools, processes and Personal protective equipment
  • Must be appropriately trained and authorised before performing any function
