About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and monitor MRP, analyzing material requirements, inventory levels, open orders, and coverage.
- Support the Production Planning and Control (PCP) team in planning raw materials and packaging materials.
- Analyze and address overstock, understock, stockouts, and critical material situations.
- Monitor OTIF indicators, purchase orders, requisitions, deliveries, and potential impacts on the production plan.
- Participate in the implementation and structuring of MRP in SAP, including testing, validation, and identification of improvement opportunities.
- Validate and support the cleansing of MRP master data, bills of materials, production versions, and planning parameters.
- Develop controls, KPIs, and analyses to monitor planning performance and data accuracy.
- Identify planning deviations, conduct root-cause analyses, and propose action plans.
- Document processes and support the preparation and review of work instructions and MRP procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Solid experience in Material Planning, MRP, and/or Production Planning and Control.
- Practical knowledge of SAP, preferably the PP/MM modules.
- Experience with MRP execution, configuration, testing, or implementation in SAP.
- Knowledge of concepts such as lead time, safety stock, minimum lot size, coverage, reorder point (ROP), minimum order quantity (MOQ), demand, and projected inventory.
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power Query and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large volumes of data and identify inconsistencies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Production Planning and Control, and IT.
