About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage approximately 75 to 85 personal injury litigation files from suit pending through resolution
  • Draft and prepare litigation pleadings and forms for attorney review
  • File documents using Florida e-filing portals
  • Review and finalize first-draft discovery responses prepared by the Litigation Case Manager
  • Maintain consistent, compassionate communication with clients throughout the litigation process
  • Complete inbound and outbound discovery accurately and on time
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, and arbitrations between all parties
  • Take ownership of trial preparation processes, including trial binders and exhibits
  • Assist attorneys with legal research and case support tasks
  • Ensure case deadlines are calendared and met with precision
  • Work alongside a Litigation Case Manager and supervising attorney as part of a case team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in personal injury litigation or a strong desire to grow in this field
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and supporting litigation processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while remaining calm and collaborative
  • Proven ability to work independently and stay accountable in a remote setting
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential client calls
  • Comfortable with video meetings, messaging tools, and cloud-based case management
  • Able to come into the Fort Myers office as needed for team meetings, training, and trial preparation
  • Familiarity with FileVine or similar case management systems is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
