About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the optimal operation of applications, software, and specialized software packages within the election delivery ecosystem
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance the features of specialized applications, software, and software packages
  • Analyze functional requirements, use cases, and user stories to configure and adjust features
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, establish priorities, and support the integration of user processes
  • Produce and maintain documentation, including procedures, guides, and standards
  • Identify and document usability issues, defects, and failures, then implement the agreed-upon fixes
  • Design and oversee user acceptance testing scenarios
  • Participate in major digital projects, particularly solutions supporting municipal elections

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification in computer science or another relevant field
  • Two years of experience related to the position’s responsibilities, particularly in functional analysis, technology solution support, and the configuration of software packages or technology solutions
  • Knowledge of .NET, Java, or other programming languages
  • Must successfully complete the SPVM security clearance process
  • Knowledge of Power Platform—Power Apps (Canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse—is an asset
  • Knowledge of technology architecture concepts is an asset
  • Knowledge of PowerShell is an asset
