About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define architectural direction for technology infrastructure
Recommend technology strategies to business units and support them in adopting those strategies
Develop and propose approaches for modernizing and replacing technology environments
Contribute to project delivery as a subject-matter expert and technical leader, from design through implementation
Design on-premises or cloud-based solutions with consideration for performance, availability, security, monitoring, and cost
Design robust and resilient architectures for data centers
Plan and support projects involving the evolution of existing solutions and cloud integration
Define standards for resilience, performance, and service continuity
Collaborate with enterprise architects, analysts, and project teams to translate architectural decisions into concrete solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent academic qualification
6 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in infrastructure architecture
Expertise in data centers, virtualization, storage, and high availability
Strong knowledge of data center architecture
Strong knowledge of on-premises compute and storage solutions (IaaS)
Strong knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery architectures
Strong knowledge of backup solutions
Knowledge of at least one cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI)
Familiarity with container technologies and Kubernetes
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (IaC, GitOps, monitoring)
Experience with hybrid cloud solutions
