About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with an experienced tandem partner on a real-world innovation project as part of a twelve-month trainee program
- Participate in in-person events, workshops, training sessions, and coaching
- Analyze and structure service reports, failure patterns, technical incidents, and machine and service data
- Contribute to building a central knowledge base for technical expertise, historical service cases, and documentation
- Explore the use of modern AI technologies to process, classify, and provide information
- Develop approaches for systematically capturing and ensuring the long-term availability of experiential knowledge
- Evaluate error codes, service reports, and technical incidents, and analyze relationships between failure patterns, causes, and solutions
- Identify specific AI and data use cases in collaboration with the service organization
- Develop and test initial solution approaches with the relevant departments and assess their value for operational service
- Collaborate with service engineering, technical departments, IT, and other stakeholders
- Prepare findings, project progress updates, and results for technical and commercial stakeholders
- Present project progress at several milestones
- Prepare the developed solution for deployment in day-to-day operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree, for example in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence, or Industrial Engineering
- Interest in digital and data-driven topics
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence, modern data and knowledge systems, and practical solutions for industrial services
- Enjoy analyzing diverse data sources, structuring information, and identifying relationships
- Interest in machinery, technical systems, and industrial processes
- Ability to understand and structure complex relationships and translate them into concrete solution approaches
- Initial experience with Python, SQL, databases, APIs, or comparable technologies is an advantage
- Willingness to learn about new technologies and AI applications
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Enjoy turning new ideas into practical applications
- Enjoy collaborating with different departments
- Ability to communicate technical and data-related topics clearly
