Key responsibilities & impact

Own product-area outcomes, including discovery, prioritization, and delivery for surfaces such as PriceBook or Catalog
Ship a production change every week, demonstrated with users or in the live environment
Conduct direct discovery with sales representatives, customer service representatives, pricing managers, and product directors
Map real customer workflows across spreadsheets, SAP, email chains, and other systems before proposing solutions
Build capabilities that work across customers rather than one-off tenant features
Create working prototypes in days to align stakeholders and test with users
Use Claude Code and agentic tooling to generate, test, and open production-ready pull requests
Write precise specifications that AI agents or engineers can execute without follow-up questions
Read schemas and ERP-mapped master data, including customer IDs, sales areas, material groups, and tenant rules
Convert support tickets, CSAT signals, and integration issues into prioritized fixes
Define success metrics, instrument shipped work, and report what worked, what did not, and what was cut
Demonstrate every shipped change and document handoff notes
Explicitly identify missed weekly shipments, explain why, and state what unblocks the next shipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Product judgment first; experience owning product outcomes rather than only a backlog
Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools to ship real production software used by real people
Ability to read a data model, follow an API contract, run the app locally, and identify incorrect AI-generated code
Experience with messy enterprise data and systems including ERPs, CRMs, spreadsheets, and flat files
Ability to build for and communicate plainly with commercial directors and users in the chemicals distribution industry
High agency, low ego; ability to push through blockers, accept blunt feedback, and reverse conclusions based on evidence
