Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
14+ years of professional experience in software development with Golang
Proven experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience/knowledge of Java and the ability to read and understand code
Strong programming experience, preferably in Python or Java, with Kubernetes
Experience managing monorepos
Familiarity with CI tools
Experience with Bazel as a build system
Deep knowledge of Golang, including language internals
Ability to read and understand large Golang codebases
Experience writing comprehensive tests using the standard Golang library, Ginkgo, and Gomega
Effective use of Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience troubleshooting applications using logs and profiling techniques
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes internal mechanisms and resource quota system management
Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining applications on Kubernetes platforms
Extensive knowledge of Docker and container technologies
Strong understanding of Linux-based systems, especially control groups features related to resource management and container technology
Proficiency in PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Prometheus and general metrics and monitoring systems
Experience developing API services in Golang
Strong understanding of web/HTTP microservices development
