About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the preparation and estimation of detailed technical specifications
- Perform advanced configuration, develop custom extensions and business rules (VPLM API and language, SQL, Java)
- Manage client/server installations of the solutions and coordinate upgrades to new versions with clients’ IT contacts
- Install and configure interfaces (APIs, AUPL, etc.) with clients’ systems (ERP, CAD, CRM)
- Participate in technical testing phases
- Resolve issues and support the production deployment of the VPLM solution
- Train users and ensure knowledge transfer
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Support clients with their PLM solution deployment and enhancement projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree or Master’s degree (five years of higher education) in computer science, mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering
- Initial experience in a similar role integrating a PLM solution
- Strong development skills (Java, scripting languages, SQL)
- Knowledge of database architecture (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, etc.)
- Experience installing on-premises server solutions
- Ability to execute installation scripts and configure solutions
- Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates (HTTPS)
- Experience configuring firewalls (specific ports)
- Experience integrating with corporate directories (Active Directory / LDAP) for SSO
- Understanding of and interest in industrial design and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of a commercial PLM solution: VPLM, 3DEXPERIENCE (ENOVIA), Teamcenter (Siemens) or Windchill (PTC)
- Professional proficiency in English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills when working with clients and a strong preference for multidisciplinary teamwork
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, approximately three days per week, throughout France
