About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define project objectives and requirements
- Create the project structure plan
- Plan schedules, costs, and resources
- Define milestones and deadlines
- Plan risk management and support FMEA activities
- Assemble project teams, assign tasks, and coordinate activities
- Motivate and lead teams
- Manage interfaces between departments
- Manage suppliers
- Conduct regular internal and external project meetings
- Act as the point of contact for stakeholders and clients
- Report project status through status reports or presentations
- Collaborate with Procurement, specialist departments, management, and Quality
- Monitor project progress with regard to schedule, costs, and quality
- Identify deviations and initiate corrective measures
- Manage changes and change requests
- Support quality assurance
- Participate in the Steering Board
- Coordinate project deliverable acceptance
- Prepare project documentation and lessons learned
- Conduct team disbandment and project follow-up activities
- Present to C-level management
- Perform project control activities on-site at the project location
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in engineering, physics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the specified areas
- Extensive expertise in project management methods
- Strong team leadership skills and excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Citizenship of an EU member state
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills (minimum C1 level)
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel for work
- Willingness to perform project control activities on-site at the project location
