About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare accounting entries
- Actively participate in monthly and annual financial closings
- Support and perform the accounting department’s daily activities
- Provide assistance and support to other areas of the company
- Perform accounting reconciliations
- Ensure that accounting records comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
- Participate in the financial close for a group comprising six companies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Accounting or a related field
- Previous experience in accounting
- Proactive, agile, and eager to learn
- Advanced Excel: proficiency with spreadsheets and formulas, along with the ability to perform financial analyses to support decision-making
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Looker Studio and Power BI) is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus
- Previous experience at an accounting firm is a plus
- Knowledge of taxation is a plus
