About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and execute wine fairs, partner activations, events, and brand experiences.
- Oversee every stage of event production, from planning through teardown, ensuring excellence in every detail.
- Lead event operations, coordinating vendors, support teams, and partners throughout execution.
- Manage vendors, negotiating scope, timelines, costs, and delivery quality.
- Own the logistics for wine, materials, promotional items, equipment, and all other resources required for each event.
- Partner with the Marketing, PR, Sales, Retail, CRM, Trade, Franchising, and Product teams to ensure integrated execution.
- Develop timelines, checklists, and operational plans, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Track event budgets, contracts, payments, and financial reporting.
- Anticipate risks and propose solutions, ensuring agility in decision-making.
- Deliver a premium experience for customers, guests, partners, producers, and franchisees.
- Develop processes and playbooks to improve efficiency and standardize operations.
- Prepare post-event reports with performance indicators, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in event production, brand activations, or relationship-building events.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent English, with frequent contact with international producers and partners.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong vendor negotiation skills.
- Hands-on approach without losing sight of the strategic perspective.
- Availability to travel and work at weekend events when necessary.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to improve productivity.
- Experience with premium, luxury, food and beverage, or hospitality brands is a plus.
- Experience with trade shows and large-scale events is a plus.
- Knowledge of or interest in the world of wine and gastronomy is a plus.
- Experience in retail, franchising, or consumer goods companies is a plus.
