About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform all functions related to processing, packing, and sorting customer orders
Operate banding, shrink-wrap, scanning, and packing equipment for post-processing
Sort packaged orders into correct bins before sending them to logistics for shipping
Package all items in customer orders together; box, tape, stamp, and send orders to logistics at production target rates
Deliver and replenish customer orders and materials throughout production processes as a WIP Movement (Water Spider)
Use manual pallet jacks as needed
Use scan guns to help sort and complete customer orders
Keep the area clean and up to 5S standards; inspect equipment and materials for malfunctions
Perform regular quality checks, reduce internal defects, and ensure quality products are delivered to the proper customer on time
Meet minimum performance and accuracy expectations
Follow company standards and SOP guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous experience in a lean or production manufacturing environment
Previous experience picking, packing, sorting
Team player who is reliable, eager to learn, train and rotate through the various operations
Basic counting and mathematical skills to pick the correct quantity
Ability to respond with flexibility to changing work demands
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team environment
Ability to work with technology and follow step-by-step procedures
Strong dedication to team member morale, customer service, safety, quality and delivery
Ability to multitask
Ability to perform normal sitting and standing activities and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 12 hours
Ability to actively listen and read comprehensive documents
Strong communication skills
Existing work authorization or H-1B status not subject to the $100,000 filing fee may be considered; new H-1B petitions subject to the fee are not sponsored
