About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Embed with customer teams to observe work, understand business problems and workflow constraints, and identify practical AI opportunities
- Translate customer insights into use cases and acceptance criteria
- Design and build AI applications, assistants, and agent-based workflows
- Write and test production code, select models and retrieval approaches, and validate solutions with customer scenarios
- Connect AI solutions to enterprise APIs, data sources, and business workflows
- Implement authentication, permissions, single sign-on, role-based access, and data quality controls
- Take prototypes into production using maintainable code, automated tests, evaluations, deployment practices, and monitoring
- Own AWS solutions from discovery and design through automated deployment, monitoring, alerts, usage and cost analytics, issue resolution, and production support
- Test solutions with users, improve usability, and support adoption through documentation and enablement
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders, IT teams, data owners, and VistaVu architecture, engineering, and delivery colleagues
- Troubleshoot and improve reliability; build safeguards for sensitive data, model errors, and approval-required actions
- Turn customer learning into reusable components, integration patterns, evaluation methods, and delivery approaches
- Review other developers’ work and help them grow their Claude and full-stack skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience building and supporting production software
- Strong full-stack coding skills in TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and Python
- Experience with maintainable application design, version control, testing, and troubleshooting
- Practical experience with large language models, including RAG, tool use, or agent workflows
- Experience building production applications, workflows, and AI agents on the Claude API, including tool use, agent design, prompt engineering, and evals
- Ability to integrate applications through REST and other APIs
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data, databases, authentication, access controls, and data quality
- Strong business discovery skills
- Clear customer communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Ownership across delivery and operation, including security, reliability, and human oversight
- Experience building serverless applications on AWS using Lambda, DynamoDB, and Aurora DSQL
- SAP and ERP integration experience is an asset, including OData and SOAP APIs
- Experience with additional cloud platforms or managed AI services beyond AWS is preferred
- Knowledge of finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or customer service processes
