About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop a deep understanding of the product under test and associated requirements
Perform end-to-end manual testing of native mobile apps and web platform
Create test plans, develop and execute test cases, and support defect remediation
Groom stories to account for testing and quality metrics
Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
Design test cases and create testing artifacts, including Test Strategy and Test Plan
Identify and execute appropriate testing strategies
Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Recommend changes to release plans to address critical quality issues
Execute test cases within agreed timelines
Analyze test results and investigate, report, and track product issues
Lead manual testing projects and improve the quality of Viv’s software products and applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manual QA role
At least 2 years in a senior manual QA role in software testing environments for web-based and mobile applications
Adept with Agile scrum methodologies
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance methods and testing principles
Strong experience in functional, integration, ad hoc and exploratory testing methodologies
Experience developing and maintaining test cases
Good communication skills and a team player
Attention to detail and ability to quickly learn the product
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to learn, adapt and grow in response to challenges within the healthcare industry
Previous startup experience is highly preferred
Certification in QA or software development (ISTQB, CSTE) is a nice-to-have
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a nice-to-have
Experience with POSTMAN is a nice-to-have
Experience in data analysis is a nice-to-have
Fluency in Spanish, Russian or other languages is an asset
