About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical leader in defining, implementing, and evolving platforms
Technically lead end-to-end initiatives, from discovery and design through implementation and support
Define, develop, and institutionalize architectural standards, specifications, and reference architectures
Design end-to-end technical solutions for high-transaction-scale environments
Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and high availability
Ensure idempotency, consistency, resilience, and low latency across workflows
Define testing strategies for critical workflows and ensure technical quality
Implement observability through metrics, logs, tracing, and alerts
Work closely with product, operations, and enterprise architecture teams
Support strategic technical decisions
Serve as a technical reference for the team and raise engineering maturity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience designing solutions for public or hybrid cloud environments
Strong foundation in distributed systems, high availability, scalability, and resilience
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with microservices architecture and decoupling practices
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and event-driven architectures
Experience with messaging and event streaming, including queues, pub/sub, retries, dead-letter queues, and eventual consistency
Solid experience as a full-stack developer, with backend expertise for highly critical transactional systems
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, and React
Experience with relational, non-relational, and graph databases, including domain-driven modeling
Experience with automated testing, quality strategies, and the definition of critical workflows
Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, and DevOps culture
Experience with observability, logging, metrics, and monitoring in high-scale environments
Ability to productize technology solutions from concept through operations
Ability to translate complex business rules into robust technical solutions
Hands-on profile with architectural vision and the ability to serve as a technical reference
Knowledge of or experience with TM Forum standards and their Open APIs is a plus
Experience applying AI in practice, including LLMs, RAG, agents, or intelligent automation, is a plus
