About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the execution of the telecommunications site deployment portfolio
Ensure targets for schedule, cost, quality, safety, and availability are met
Coordinate construction, infrastructure, power, and site deployment activities
Integrate internal teams, suppliers, and engineering, construction, and operations partners
Translate strategic planning into operational execution and ensure project pipeline flow through asset delivery
Consolidate, monitor, and analyze performance, productivity, cost, productive capacity, service-level, and schedule metrics
Identify deviations and implement corrective actions in the network expansion program
Manage the prioritization and allocation of resources, materials, and suppliers
Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks, removing impediments
Promote project governance by tracking milestones, contracts, budgets, and technical, regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance
Interface with planning, procurement, engineering, permitting, operations, finance, and senior management
Provide executive visibility and support data-driven decision-making
Improve deployment processes, develop suppliers, automate controls, and increase operational efficiency
Coordinate the deployment pipeline for sites and associated infrastructure
Manage construction companies, systems integrators, and strategic partners
Lead continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Telecommunications, or a related field
Proven experience coordinating deployment teams, managing project portfolios, working in a PMO, overseeing infrastructure construction, or managing telecommunications construction portfolios
Experience managing suppliers, contracts, performance indicators, and executive governance
Operational capacity management and resource planning
Governance of performance indicators, including SLA, productivity, lead time, throughput, backlog, costs, CAPEX, and operational efficiency
Risk management and mitigation plan development
Control and tracking of schedules, critical milestones, and the deployment pipeline
Management of engineering, construction, and deployment suppliers and contracts
Ability to structure and lead executive forums, steering committees, war rooms, and governance meetings
Analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making support
Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft 365, project and portfolio management tools, Power Automate, data visualization, management dashboards, and continuous improvement is desirable
Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus
