About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the site acquisition process for the deployment of telecommunications sites, from prospecting and initial assessment through negotiation and contract execution
  • Identify land, properties, buildings, condominiums, and other potential locations based on technical, economic, documentation, and regulatory requirements
  • Negotiate with property owners, administrators, condominium managers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders
  • Negotiate lease amounts, adjustments, terms, access conditions, and the responsibilities of each party
  • Evaluate location alternatives based on cost, timeline, risk, documentation complexity, and project requirements
  • Participate in condominium assemblies and approval forums
  • Coordinate the organization and initial verification of owner and site documentation
  • Track the site acquisition pipeline, stages, outstanding items, deadlines, risks, amounts, and projected completion dates
  • Identify land, documentation, negotiation, or relationship-related obstacles and lead action plans
  • Collaborate with engineering, deployment, regulatory, legal, finance, procurement, and asset management teams
  • Manage partner companies and vendors providing prospecting, negotiation, or regularization services
  • Prepare KPIs, management reports, and presentations on negotiations, costs, productivity, outstanding items, and risks
  • Contribute to the standardization, continuous improvement, digitalization, and automation of site acquisition processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Real Estate Management, Real Estate Business, or a related field
  • Experience prospecting, negotiating, and contracting land, properties, rooftops, façades, or other areas for infrastructure deployment
  • Experience negotiating leases, rights of use, easements, or similar instruments
  • Experience working with property owners, property management companies, condominiums, condominium managers, legal representatives, and external partners
  • Experience analyzing feasibility based on cost, timeline, risk, and documentation complexity
  • Experience simultaneously managing a portfolio of negotiations and site acquisition processes
  • Experience handling conflicts, negotiation impasses, and cases involving greater documentation complexity
  • Experience collaborating with legal, regulatory, technical, finance, and deployment teams
  • Basic knowledge of leases, rights of use, easements, and site availability agreements
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and documents related to site contracting
  • Document, evidence, approval, and outstanding-item organization and control
  • Pipeline, deadline, KPI, and negotiation portfolio management
  • Management of site acquisition vendors and partner companies
  • Identification and mitigation of land, documentation, and negotiation risks
  • Ability to lead assemblies, meetings, and presentations
  • Preparation of reports, management analyses, and recommendations
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure deployment and permitting
  • Knowledge of the real estate market, site contracting, real estate documentation, registrations, certificates, and site compliance
  • Basic knowledge of legislation applicable to telecommunications infrastructure and municipal and regulatory permitting
  • Knowledge of asset management, asset registration, financial management, cost composition, adjustments, and economic impacts
  • Basic knowledge of the topology and deployment requirements of fixed and mobile networks
  • Knowledge of project and process management methodologies
  • Microsoft Excel, preferably advanced
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft 365, especially Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Planner
  • Familiarity with real estate, asset management, document management, or project tracking systems
  • Intermediate English and/or Spanish preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, workflow tools, Power Automate or equivalent tools, georeferencing, and Generative AI preferred
