About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure end-to-end deployment of telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with schedule, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage highly complex or critical deployment projects, from release for execution through construction completion and acceptance
  • Simultaneously oversee a portfolio of sites and maintain schedules, costs, technical requirements, quality, safety, and compliance
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and other partners, aligning scope, responsibilities, and delivery milestones
  • Monitor construction progress, measurements, outstanding items, and critical milestones, keeping information up to date and decisions traceable
  • Identify risks, deviations, and impediments, and lead action plans
  • Lead the resolution of significant deviations and critical deployment situations
  • Conduct technical and operational negotiations regarding scope, productivity, rescheduling, measurements, responsibilities, and claims
  • Assess supplier performance in terms of productivity, quality, deadlines, and commitments
  • Prepare and analyze KPIs, management reports, and executive presentations
  • Support the standardization of deployment processes and the adoption of best practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement, digitization, and automation initiatives
  • Act as a technical and operational reference, guiding less experienced professionals and contributing to team development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Additional education or certifications in project management, infrastructure, construction management, or related fields will be considered an advantage
  • Experience deploying telecommunications infrastructure, conducting civil works, rolling out networks, or managing infrastructure projects
  • Experience simultaneously overseeing multiple construction projects or sites, with responsibility for schedules, costs, quality, safety, and deliverables
  • Experience managing and coordinating contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and deployment partners
  • Experience identifying and resolving operational, technical, financial, or compliance deviations
  • Experience negotiating scope, measurements, rescheduling, and claims with suppliers
  • Experience preparing and presenting performance reports, KPIs, and executive project status updates
  • Knowledge of end-to-end management of telecommunications site deployment and construction projects
  • Knowledge of planning and tracking schedules, physical milestones, and critical paths
  • Knowledge of cost control, measurements, and physical and financial monitoring of construction projects
  • Knowledge of quality management, inspection, acceptance, and handover
  • Knowledge of managing suppliers, contractors, and deployment partners
  • Knowledge of managing risks, deviations, outstanding items, and action plans
  • Knowledge of negotiating scope, responsibilities, measurements, rescheduling, and claims
  • Knowledge of internal and external stakeholder management
  • Basic knowledge of occupational safety, regulatory standards, and best practices applicable to construction projects
  • Ability to develop and track KPIs for schedule, cost, productivity, quality, and service levels
  • Ability to standardize processes, controls, and execution criteria
  • Ability to prepare management analyses, executive reports, and recommendations to support decision-making
  • Knowledge of the topology and main components of fixed and mobile networks is desirable
  • Knowledge of site infrastructure, including structures, foundations, power, climate control, and associated elements is desirable
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMI, PMBOK, Agile methods, or equivalent, is desirable
  • Knowledge of asset management and infrastructure asset control is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of contract and financial management applied to deployment projects is desirable
  • Intermediate English and/or Spanish is desirable
  • Knowledge of Power BI is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Power Query is desirable
  • Familiarity with Power Automate or equivalent tools is desirable
  • Ability to use digital platforms for construction control, project updates, evidence management, and tracking outstanding items
  • Basic knowledge of Generative AI applied to the corporate environment is desirable
