About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, build, and scale the next generation of oncology products at Viz.ai
  • Build differentiated oncology product strategy based on customer needs, market opportunity, competitive dynamics, and Viz.ai's strengths
  • Maintain relationships with oncology KOLs, clinicians, and health-system leaders
  • Identify unmet needs and market gaps and translate them into business cases for investment prioritization
  • Engage directly with customers and users and monitor competitors, emerging technology, and evolving oncology care models
  • Own products end-to-end from insight and concept through requirements, launch, adoption, and optimization
  • Write product requirements documents connecting user problems, requirements, and business rationale
  • Partner with Design, Engineering, and Inbound Product Management to build intuitive, clinically meaningful products
  • Use AI-native and agentic tools to test ideas with customers before committing engineering resources
  • Partner with BD, Commercial, Sales, and Product Marketing on go-to-market strategy, value proposition, positioning, lighthouse customers, and design partners
  • Partner with Clinical and the Chief Medical Officer to ensure go-to-market claims and positioning are clinically sound
  • Define and monitor metrics covering adoption, engagement, customer value, commercial performance, and patient impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of oncology-adjacent healthcare experience in clinical, commercial, diagnostics, or life sciences
  • Sophisticated understanding of the oncology ecosystem and clinical workflows
  • 5+ years of product management experience building and launching complex healthcare, software, AI, or technology products
  • Highly commercial mindset, including market sizing, buyer understanding, and connecting product decisions to revenue and growth
  • Strong relationships within the oncology ecosystem or ability to rapidly build credibility with leading clinicians and KOLs
  • Strong understanding of modern AI products and enthusiasm for agentic, AI-native development
  • Comfortable prototyping ideas using tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, and Claude Design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
  • Experience with oncology-specific EHR or workflow systems such as Epic Beacon, iKnowMed, or ARIA is a bonus
  • Experience with life sciences or pharma partnership models in oncology is a bonus
  • Oncology clinical licensure (MD, APP/PA/NP, or RN with oncology specialization) is a plus but not required
  • Advanced degree (MD, MBA, or MPH) is a plus but not required
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship, now or in the future
