About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations for medical-surgical improvement initiatives
  • Interpret complex analytical results and develop clear data-driven stories supporting client decision-making and organizational change
  • Develop and execute project plans meeting schedules, budgets, deliverables, and expected value
  • Apply project management methodologies to organize workstreams, manage milestones, address risks, and support project delivery
  • Facilitate client meetings and discussions and present findings and recommendations to clinical, operational, and senior leadership audiences
  • Manage relationships and expectations with mid- to senior-level client leaders throughout consulting engagements
  • Apply medical-surgical clinical expertise to assess workflows, practices, performance, and improvement opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to expand client value and collaborate with senior project team members on consulting solutions
  • Develop and improve consulting products, services, tools, methodologies, and approaches within the clinical practice area
  • Guide less experienced consultants in data interpretation, storytelling, deliverable development, and intellectual capital sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant degree preferred
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required
  • Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, clinical operations, performance improvement, or a related healthcare environment required
  • Active or eligible clinical licensure appropriate to the area of expertise preferred
  • Experience interpreting clinical, operational, quality, and performance data and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Experience leading consulting engagements, improvement initiatives, projects, or complex workstreams within a healthcare environment
  • Strong project management, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting findings and recommendations to clinical and senior leadership audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, build effective client relationships, and collaborate across clinical and operational teams
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables
