About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support P&L growth and strategic initiatives for the Facilities Center of Excellence
- Plan and manage multiple client projects and initiatives, including serving as project lead as needed
- Communicate recommendations, business cases, and strategic insights to senior executives
- Establish and maintain relationships with C-suite, supply chain, facilities, and construction stakeholders
- Develop and execute project work plans
- Provide client status updates
- Identify, track, and validate savings achieved through program engagement
- Manage initiatives that enhance client utilization of the contract portfolio
- Develop tools supporting facilities project managers and end users
- Coordinate activities across client supply chain, facilities, construction teams, and third-party contractors
- Cultivate vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and value-added opportunities
- Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, conferences, speaking engagements, and new facilities products and services
- Maintain high billability and client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for follow-on work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant degree preferred
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required
- Consulting or analytical experience within the healthcare industry
- Understanding of clinical and non-clinical operations and processes
- Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, estimating, medical equipment procurement, or logistics required
- Knowledge of healthcare supply chain procurement practices and technology preferred
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications preferred
- Proficiency in project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior and executive-level client leaders
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables
