About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support EDI, API, and enterprise integrations using Boomi AtomSphere
Develop and maintain Boomi processes, maps, data transformations, workflows, and integration components
Design integration solutions supporting X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat-file, API, and application integration requirements
Translate business, technical, and trading partner requirements into scalable integration solutions
Develop data transformation and orchestration processes that validate, route, enrich, and deliver data across multiple systems
Support onboarding and implementation of new trading partners, including requirements gathering, mapping, testing, connectivity, and production deployment
Establish and maintain secure connectivity using AS2, SFTP, APIs, and web services
Design, consume, and support REST and SOAP API integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving mapping, connectivity, data quality, APIs, and transaction processing
Develop reusable integration frameworks, templates, and patterns
Support integration monitoring, logging, exception handling, observability, and operational support processes
Collaborate with business teams, developers, architects, vendors, and customers
Evaluate and leverage automation and AI-assisted development capabilities
Participate in Tier 2 support and on-call rotations for Vizient's eCommerce Exchange environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred
5 or more years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting EDI, API, and enterprise integration solutions required
2+ years hands-on experience developing, configuring, deploying, and supporting integrations using Boomi AtomSphere required
Experience developing Boomi maps and processes supporting X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat-file, API, and application integrations required
Strong experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, routing, orchestration, and exception handling required
Solid understanding of EDI transaction processing, trading partner onboarding, acknowledgments, envelopes, and transaction lifecycle management required
Experience with X12 EDI, XML, JSON, and flat files required
Experience implementing and supporting AS2 and SFTP required
Experience designing, consuming, implementing, or supporting REST and SOAP web services required
Strong troubleshooting skills across integrations, applications, APIs, and external trading partner environments preferred
Experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, or similar technologies preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Ability to independently manage integration projects from requirements through deployment and support
Experience supporting production environments and resolving integration incidents in complex enterprise ecosystems
Hybrid position based in the Dallas (Irving, TX) office; 3 days per week in office and 2 days virtual
