About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and execution of sourcing and contracting strategies that reduce spend, improve operational efficiency, and deliver client value
- Assist in drafting and redlining contract terms under the direction of senior team members and Legal
- Participate in supplier negotiations by preparing materials, summarizing issues, and contributing to discussions
- Support alignment between clients, suppliers, and internal teams by gathering information and documenting updates
- Ensure contract documents reflect agreed updates and established standards
- Escalate complex or sensitive negotiation items to senior sourcing executives
- Collect and analyze data, market insights, and supplier information for sourcing strategies
- Assist with RFP creation, distribution, bid collection, and initial evaluations
- Coordinate supplier communications and scheduling
- Support contract maintenance, including amendments, renewals, and pricing validations
- Prepare communication materials summarizing sourcing progress, opportunities, and supplier updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant degree preferred; Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- 2 or more years of relevant experience required
- Foundational experience in contract review, redlining, or negotiation support preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and identify trends
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Willingness to travel
