About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support achievement of client savings, contract penetration, and supply chain performance goals
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to support implementation, adoption, and sustained utilization of Vizient solutions
Apply problem-solving, critical thinking, and continuous improvement principles to overcome barriers and adapt to client needs
Manage analytics and client coordination activities while tracking performance metrics and workplan progress
Identify and present cost-saving opportunities using Vizient tools and services, including Supply Analytics and Impact Standardization
Analyze complex data to uncover product conversion opportunities
Collaborate with category managers and supplier partners on product cross-referencing, conversions, and trials
Support clients in the New York area in implementing and assessing product conversions
Participate in formal training, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and community service projects
Set goals, work toward deadlines, and participate in interactions with senior leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a degree in healthcare, finance, business administration or supply chain
Must have completed the sophomore year as an undergraduate before the start of the internship, or have recently completed your degree
Basic understanding of working in a hybrid environment, workplace ethics, and effective communication
Good organization and planning skills
Experience demonstrating project coordination, facilitation, and implementation through work or school
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and synthesize information for problem-solving
Ability to analyze complex data and present it to key stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with internal business partners, external members, and suppliers
Excel Proficiency
