About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting cycles, long-range planning, and financial modeling activities
  • Perform financial and operational analysis to identify performance trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboard solutions and reporting tools for operational and executive stakeholders
  • Partner with leaders across practices and service lines to define reporting requirements and build customized dashboards
  • Design, automate, and improve recurring financial, operational, and management reporting processes
  • Utilize ERP, project accounting, and other business-system data to create reporting and analytics
  • Support project profitability, utilization, revenue, and operational performance reporting
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and performance scorecards
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms and business intelligence solutions
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to improve data availability, reporting capabilities, and system utilization
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, presentations, and analyses for senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve efficiency, and enhance organizational use of data
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses, strategic projects, acquisitions, and special initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and financial analysis
  • Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI development
  • Experience working with ERP and enterprise reporting systems; NetSuite experience preferred
  • Ability to gather business requirements, synthesize complex data, and develop reporting solutions for a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across finance and operational teams
  • Strong attention to detail, data quality, and process discipline
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Preferred: Experience within professional services, healthcare consulting, healthcare services, or project-based organizations
  • Preferred: Experience supporting financial and operational reporting in a multi-service-line environment
  • Preferred: Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting automation initiatives
  • Preferred: Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and related financial analysis
  • Preferred: Experience preparing management and executive-level reporting materials
