About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate machines and other equipment safely and efficiently during the production process
- Perform prestressed concrete setup
- Maintain and operate hand and power tools, casting equipment, stressing systems, utility tractors, overhead cranes, hydraulic lifts, forklifts and cranes
- Prepare and handle production templates throughout the production process
- Clean the production area regularly
- Read and follow the production schedule
- Adhere to Nortrak’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School graduate or GED preferred
- Experience in Forklift and Crane operations preferred
- Knowledge of operating hand and power tools such as saw, flipping station, casting machine, stressing system, utility tractor, overhead cranes, hydraulic lifts, forklifts and cranes
- Ability to read work orders, ITPs, blueprints, rulers and tape measures
- Basic mathematical calculation experience in adding and subtracting whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Experience in construction industry is a plus
- PCI experience or certification preferred
- ACI experience or certification preferred
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Able to work with little supervision
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and pushing, pulling, or lifting objects for the duration of the scheduled shift
- Ability to use hands and arms to operate tools, handle materials, and reach for the duration of the scheduled shift
- Regularly lift and carry 30–35 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Required close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Hearing abilities necessary to perform job tasks safely and effectively
